Top Metal Solutions in Adkins, TX is seeking a Senior Welder to perform complex MIG and Flux-Core welding on structural and custom metal assemblies. The role requires strong fabrication skills, blueprint interpretation, and adherence to quality in a fast-paced shop environment.

This full-time, on-site position reports to the Production Supervisor / Area Lead and offers growth opportunities within a tight-knit team.

Qualifications

5+ years of welding and fabrication experience preferred.
Experience in manufacturing, structural welding, or custom fabrication environments.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong blueprint reading and fabrication interpretation skills.
Proven ability to maintain quality and productivity standards.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attendance and reliability.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced MIG welding on structural and custom fabricated components
Perform Flux-Core welding for heavy-duty and structural applications
Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and production specifications
Set up and adjust welding equipment and parameters properly
Perform fitting, alignment, and fabrication support as required
Maintain high-quality weld appearance and structural integrity
Identify and correct welding or fabrication issues
Assist with troubleshooting production and fabrication problems
Support production efficiency and workflow improvements
Assist in training and mentoring junior welders when needed
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain safe work practices and follow all company safety procedures
Support team productivity and project completion goals
