Job summary

Top Metal Solutions in Adkins, TX is seeking MIG/Flux-Core welders to join our metal fabrication team. This is a full-time, on-site position with a Monday–Thursday schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:45 PM and pay between $20.00 and $24.00 per hour, based on experience and weld test results.

Candidates should be able to read blueprints, set up welding equipment, and maintain safety, quality, and productivity in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Previous MIG and Flux-Core welding experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, or structural welding preferred.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform measurements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Dependable attendance, reliability, and strong work ethic.
• Commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and Flux-Core welding on metal components and fabricated assemblies.
• Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and fabrication drawings.
• Prepare, fit, and align materials before welding.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment as needed.
• Grind, clean, and finish welded parts.
• Visually inspect welds and identify defects.
• Accurately use measuring tools.
• Maintain quality and productivity throughout the fabrication process.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
