Job summary

Storyteller Overland, LLC is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator with strong aluminum TIG welding experience to join our growing fabrication team. In this role, you will build structural and cosmetic components for adventure vehicles, including bumpers, roof racks, sliders, flatbeds, interior frames, and custom accessories.

The ideal candidate is a precision welder and fabricator who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment, with 2+ years of experience and proven TIG aluminum weld

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years welding/fabrication experience (automotive or off-road preferred).
• Proven aluminum TIG welding proficiency.
• Experience with MIG welding and mild/stainless steel.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and fabrication blueprints.
• Skilled with metalworking tools and shop equipment.
• Detail-oriented with strong craftsmanship pride.
• Team-oriented with strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Test welding required at interview.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom parts and components with a focus on high-quality aluminum TIG welding.
• MIG welding and light steel fabrication as needed.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, tape measures and blueprints.
• Operate shop tools (band saws, chop saws, plasma cutters, grinders, tube benders, drill presses).
• Assemble and fit fabricated parts into vehicle builds with accuracy.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to prototype components.
