Qualifications

• Proficient MIG and/or TIG welding of aluminum.
• Able to read blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Solid fabrication and fit-up experience; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create strong, clean aluminum welds using MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW).
• Own the fabrication process from fit-up to final assembly, including finishing.
• Prepare joints and surfaces for sound weld quality; verify welds and dimensions.
• Configure, tune, and verify welding parameters and equipment.
• Translate blueprints into precise work and perform accurate fit-up and alignment.
• Inspect weld appearance, penetration, and dimensions; troubleshoot porosity or distortion.
• Operate grinders, saws, drills, fixtures, cranes, and related tools safely.
• Maintain a tidy, safe, and efficient workspace; hit production targets.
