Job summary

Epiroc is seeking an Assembler Welder to join our onsite Texas team. The role involves welding components, reading blueprints, and assembling power systems according to specifications. You will lay out work, install hydraulic controls, and ensure safe, quality production in a tight schedule.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, spotting defects, and reporting issues to supervision. Prior welding experience and blueprint-reading training are essential for success in this

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED required.
Must pass the welding test.
Two years minimum as a welder preferred.
Must have training in reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

Weld components using blueprints.
Plan and lay out work from blueprints, drawings, or other written specifications.
Install and connect hydraulic controls, pumps, rams, and other system elements.
Mount, hook-up and connect engines, gear boxes, axles and other power components and units.
Maintain the cleanliness of the assembly area.
Detect and report defective materials, faulty operation, and unusual conditions to immediate Supervisor.
Select materials and processes to be applied.
Set up and adjust equipment.
Weld in vertical, horizontal, flat, and overhead positions.
Brazes, flame-cuts, beads, heat treats, pressure, and tack welds.
Use hand and power tools of the welding trade.
Follow prescribed safety regulations.
