Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience writing narrative reports (typically 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test commercial weighing and measuring devices within an assigned area or as requested by management.
• Inspect and test net contents of packaged commodities, price verification and labeling requirements at businesses within the assigned area or as requested by management.
• Utilize time-management and resource-management that optimizes the use of equipment in coordination with man-hours and travel area.
• Accurately complete inspection reports and daily work reports. Assist business owners and operators with their individual concerns and problems.
• Investigate consumer complaints in relation to weights and measures. Maintain assigned and shared equipment and standards.
