Minnesota Department of Commerce seeks a Weights & Measures Investigator 1 - Light Duty in the Northwest Metro Area to enforce state quality standards across measuring devices and consumer goods. The role operates on a day shift, Monday through Friday, with travel required and a path from trainee to full investigator in a full-time capacity.

Aufgaben

• Enforce state mandated quality standards for volumetric and linear measuring equipment, light capacity scales, prepackaged consumer goods, agriculture and industrial equipment, and petroleum products.
• Carry out inspections and performance-based testing on low volume meters at gas stations and other fueling points.
• Conduct scale inspections at grocery stores and other commercial businesses and perform package inspections, primarily at groceries stores.
