Job summary

Ponte Family Estate Winery in Temecula, CA, is looking for a Weddings & Events Coordinator II to sell, detail, and coordinate weddings and events, ensuring guests' expectations are exceeded.

The role requires 4+ years of wedding sales and coordinating experience, with knowledge of weddings, function space, and food & beverage. Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, Triple Seat and Webrez is essential, along with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of wedding sales and coordinating experience.
• Experience selling weddings, function space and food and beverage.
• Solid knowledge of sales principles, techniques, and practices in hospitality.
• Ability to achieve and exceed sales goals by negotiating and closing contracts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Triple Seat, and Webrez.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and respond to inquiries for weddings and events.
• Convert prospective clients into committed customers through site visits and meetings.
• Handle deposits, progress payments and final payments per contract.
• Assist in planning other departments’ events as directed by leadership.
• Maintain relationships with internal departments and guests throughout events.
• Develop and distribute communications for group functions (BEOs, room sets).
• Attend rehearsals, weddings, and events; provide post-event survey results.
