Job summary

South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced Banquet Server to join our Banquet team in Temecula, CA. This role offers opportunities for growth, a flexible schedule, and a chance to work with a premium hospitality brand.

You will review event orders, set up function spaces, serve guests, manage beverages, and ensure flawless service from start to finish. Compensation is hourly with performance-based bonus potential.

Responsibilities

• Review event orders to understand menu and service sequence.
• Set up and prepare function rooms before events.
• Inspect all equipment before, during, and after functions.
• Report deviations from standards to Captain/Supervisor.
• Inventory supplies and obtain quantities to meet forecasted demand.
• Prepare beverages as required (coffee, tea, etc.).
• Check plates for accuracy and presentation before service.
• Serve food and beverages and replenish as needed.
• Monitor guests, anticipate needs, and ensure satisfaction.
• Supervise guest alcohol consumption for safety.
• Clear tables and break down rooms after service.
• Complete end-of-shift duties and assist others as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
