Job summary

Reddit, Inc. is seeking a Platform Engineer for the Web Platform team to shape the Shreddit platform for hundreds of millions of users worldwide.

You will design scalable architecture, improve performance, and build developer tooling that accelerates web experiences. You'll collaborate across teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive end-to-end initiatives from asset delivery to observability, with a strong emphasis on AI-enabled workflows and modern web stacks (JavaScript/TypeScript, React,

Qualifications

Proficient in modern web stacks including JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js and delivering scalable, production-grade web apps.
Experience tracing, profiling and tuning performance of web platforms and their data paths.
Experience implementing AI workflows and tooling to support high-quality web development and debugging.
Experience designing robust APIs using REST/GraphQL/gRPC/HTTP.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
