Reddit is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to lead the UI for our build and deployment platform, delivering an intuitive experience for engineers to build, test, and ship software across a globally distributed cloud environment.

You will operate at the intersection of frontend engineering, distributed systems, and infrastructure, shaping the developer experience and reliability across the platform. Remote-friendly with local offices in SF.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building full-stack applications with strong frontend expertise.
• Proficiency in modern frontend development with React or Lit fundamentals.
• Solid backend experience and API design understanding.
• Experience with CI/CD and progressive delivery tools like Buildkite or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Temporal, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Excellent communication to drive alignment and ownership across teams.
• Self-directed, curious, and able to work in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship high-quality features across the stack with reusable UI components.
• Contribute to backend systems to deliver cohesive end-to-end experiences.
• Define and enforce clean API boundaries between frontend and backend.
• Collaborate to build a platform that supports complex deployment workflows and rollouts.
• Translate infra concepts (Kubernetes, Argo) into intuitive interfaces for developers.
• Engage with Reddit engineers to shape an opinionated release path and improve workflows.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to on-call reliability of the platform.
