You will drive end-to-end initiatives across asset delivery, HTML processing, observability, and reliability while mentoring engineers to raise technical excellence and ensure scalable, high‑quality web experiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience tracing, profiling and tuning performance of network calls, rendering, or data access paths.
- Experience implementing AI workflows and tooling to support high quality web development.
- Demonstrated experience designing, building, and maintaining robust APIs using REST/GraphQL/gRPC/HTTP/Thrift.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve the Shreddit web platform’s architecture, performance, and developer tooling for reddit.com.
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of cross‑service initiatives in areas like asset delivery, HTML processing, observability and reliability.
- Maintain high quality standards through code reviews, design doc evaluations, and feedback on product specs.
- Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers and elevate technical excellence across the team.
