Job summary

Biofire, a Colorado-based safety-tech company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer II, Web Platform to own the customer-facing website platform and define a pragmatic roadmap to scale our digital marketing and traffic.

You’ll build CMS-driven publishing, analytics, and experimentation infra, boost observability and SLOs, and strengthen release pipelines to support frequent, reliable deployments across frontend, API, data, and infra, partnering with Marketing, Design, and CX.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of production web platforms across multiple projects or problem domains.
• Proven full-stack fluency across the modern web stack (Next.js, TypeScript, React, Prisma, GraphQL) including deployment, CI/CD, auth, CMS integration, and payments.
• Strong system design instinct to spot weaknesses in production code and deployment pipelines and fix them safely.
• Track record of shipping quickly and delivering durable work.
• Experience in a commerce- and regulatory-heavy domain with data accuracy in orders/payments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship changes across the full stack — frontend, API, data, and infrastructure.
• Own Biofire's customer-facing web platform end-to-end and set a pragmatic technical roadmap.
• Build platform capabilities for self-service digital marketing, CMS publishing, analytics, and experimentation.
• Improve reliability and observability with dashboards, alerting, and SLOs for key journeys like auth and checkout.
• Strengthen release infrastructure to enable frequent, confident production deployments.
• Plan architectural changes with documented rationale and coordinate with stakeholders.
