Job summary

University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) seeks an experienced web/Drupal professional for a part-time, six-month term role to support the RAL Communications team in redesigning and upgrading core web properties and multimedia assets.

The incumbent will mentor staff, guide architecture decisions, and help deliver client-side web experiences across UCAR’s main site and associated projects, with hybrid on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least ten years’ experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with web architecture and client-side applications.
• Experience customizing and administering a content management system such as Drupal or Plone.

Responsibilities

• Planning and advising on steps for the Web refresh and upgrade.
• Mentor new communications staff on Drupal development for new content stories.
