Job summary

UC San Diego's Anthropology Department seeks a part-time Website Manager for a five-month engagement to lead the Cascade CMS redesign, coordinate with the CAO, Chair, agencies and freelancers, and enforce governance.

The role requires CMS, HTML/CSS, UX/UI, accessibility, analytics, and content publishing expertise, plus training and content strategy. Hybrid work between La Jolla and remote, two 5-hour days on Wednesdays and one negotiable weekday.

Qualifications

• Experience managing CMS-based websites with governance and accessibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related area and 3+ years in web management or equivalent.
• Proven ability to design, publish, and optimize web content and metadata.
