Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Web Applications Specialist in Atlanta, GA to provide technical support on web applications and lead internal/external client projects using Angular, .NET, WordPress, and related technologies.

You will independently manage most assignments, develop standards, write design documents, and coordinate across teams to ensure secure, scalable solutions, following SDLC and Agile practices. This role blends hands-on coding with leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related area; equivalent professional experience considered
• 5 years of professional experience in relevant roles
• Preference for Master’s degree and structured SDLC/Agile experience

Responsibilities

• Delivers technical assistance for web-based solutions using diverse network technologies across Angular, .NET, WordPress, Webflow, CGI and related tools
• Researches new web technologies to provide technical leadership aligning business requirements with intranet and internet systems
• Builds applications using internet and Windows development tools
• Produces design documents, test plans and results; manages components including front-end maintenance, documentation and administration
• Establishes standards to manage cost and ensure continuity of applications
