Job summary

The City of Atlanta seeks a senior web applications specialist to lead projects for internal and external clients across Angular, .NET, WordPress, and related platforms. This role requires autonomy, collaboration, and strong leadership in a mixed development environment.

You will design, implement, test, and document solutions, mentor staff, and ensure security and compliance while aligning with hybrid work guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science is required.
• 5+ years of professional experience in web applications.
• Master's degree is preferred and highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for web-based solutions using diverse network technologies, supporting internal and external stakeholders with Angular, .NET, WordPress, Webflow, CGI, multimedia systems, database features, and data modeling tools.
• Research, track, and apply new web technologies to lead development and analyze business requirements for intranet and internet systems.
• Build applications using internet and Windows development tools, including documentation and administration of components.
• Establish standards to manage cost and ensure continuity of applications.
