City of Atlanta Careers is seeking a senior IT professional to provide technical support for web applications using Angular, .NET, WordPress and related technologies. The role includes leading technical efforts, researching new web platforms, and delivering end-to-end SDLC deliverables with a focus on security and compliance.

The position operates in a hybrid model with both in-office and remote work days, reporting to the City of Atlanta IT department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• 5 years of specific professional experience in IT applications and web development.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for web-based solutions across Angular, .NET, WordPress, Webflow, CGI, multimedia systems, and data modeling tools.
• Research and apply new web technologies to support intranet and internet applications.
• Build applications using internet and Windows development tools; develop and maintain documentation.
• Create design documents, test plans and results; manage and implement application components.
• Establish standards to manage cost and ensure continuity of applications.
