Knak Digital in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Web Content Strategist to lead content work across our client roster, from research and audits through writing itself.

You will run web content strategy end to end, collaborate with creative teams, and sit with clients to keep plans aligned with goals and deadlines. Build in WordPress, Drupal, or Sitecore; apply SEO and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional writing experience at an agency.
• Depth in web content strategy, UX writing, and content design.
• Ability to adapt writing across industries and audiences.
• Hands-on CMS experience with WordPress, Drupal, or Sitecore.
• Track record of managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead web content strategy end to end: research, audits, and planning.
• Collaborate with creative directors to shape ideas into words and visuals.
• Meet with clients to ensure content plans align with goals and timelines.
• Build and edit in WordPress, Drupal, or Sitecore.
• Apply SEO, accessibility, and web-writing standards to every project.
• Write and edit for email, paid media, and paid social alongside web work.
• Contribute to proposals and new business pitches.
• Match brand voices while maintaining grammar and detail.
