Job summary

Parus Holdings Inc. is seeking a Senior Level Web Developer to lead critical software projects and collaborate on product definition and architecture.

The role involves driving the development lifecycle, mentoring team members, and ensuring code quality across multiple product lines. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, extensive web development experience, and proficiency in Python/JavaScript ES6, AWS, and relational/noSQL databases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of development experience.
• Proven experience as a technical lead; open source contributions a plus.
• Deep understanding of Web internals and modern web protocols.
• AWS cloud services and serverless technologies knowledge.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript ES6.
• Experience with Unix/Linux systems.
• Strong CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Database development with MySQL and Sybase.
• NoSQL familiarity, DynamoDB a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Product Design and lead design/implementation for the two Webley product lines.
• Own the Product Development cycle from design through implementation to support.
• Make design decisions to augment software architecture.
• Create/update design documentation illustrating the software architecture.
• Provide mentorship and technical expertise across applications and technologies.
• Diagnose system interdependencies, run tests, and debug issues.
• Review and improve development processes for best practices.
• Assist QA with test case development and testing.
• Facilitate collaboration on software and system architecture.
• Lead peer design and code reviews; drive troubleshooting for performance issues.
• Stay current with new technologies and apply real-world optimizations.
