You will partner with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and help shape the future of engineering in a fast-paced environment. Base compensation ranges from $120,000 to $145,000 annually, reflecting experience, location, and skill fit.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of software or web development experience, ideal in an agency/consulting environment.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, PHP and modern front-end/back-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, Node.js).
• Advanced experience with Drupal and WordPress CMS platforms; Drupal architecture, APIs, and custom module development.
• Deep understanding of the LAMP stack including PHP and MySQL.
• Experience building scalable applications, integrations, and API-driven solutions.
• Experience with cloud hosting platforms (AWS, Acquia, Pantheon, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong knowledge of Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture, development, and delivery of complex digital projects.
• Partner with strategy, design, production, and engineering teams to define technical approaches.
• Serve as a technical lead and point of contact for client stakeholders.
• Build scalable, maintainable, and high-performing web applications and CMS-driven platforms.
• Develop proof-of-concept solutions and evaluate integration feasibility.
• Guide engineering standards, code quality, and architectural best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers across the team.
• Assess technical health of active projects and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate on project planning, estimation, scoping, and delivery strategy.
• Contribute to internal tooling and engineering culture initiatives.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and identify process improvements.
