Job summary

Evosus is seeking an experienced Web Application Engineer to design and enhance enterprise applications for a SaaS platform. You will work with Mendix, React, TypeScript, Java, and PostgreSQL to deliver scalable features and modernize existing solutions.

You’ll mentor the team, influence technical decisions, and collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering to meet client needs. This role supports hybrid work from the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with React and Mendix or similar low-code platform.
• Experience with Java in a professional software environment and PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Mendix, React, TypeScript, Java, and PostgreSQL.
• Build reusable React components and pluggable widgets within Mendix applications.
• Translate requirements into scalable, maintainable, and performant solutions.
• Develop and troubleshoot REST APIs and third‑party integrations.
• Mentor teammates, contribute to technical decisions, and participate in CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering to refine requirements and deliver high‑quality features.
