Qualifications

This Senior Functional QA role is centered within the BFSI domain, specifically focusing on testing wealth management products. The position requires a strong understanding of financial services and hands-on experience with automation testing, data validation, and comprehensive system testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a strong functional understanding of wealth management products, including accounts, positions, holdings, transactions, balances, statements, fees, performance, valuations, and corporate actions.
• Understand business workflows and data flows end-to-end.
• Translate business rules and requirements into testable data validation scenarios.
• Design and execute data validation and reconciliation tests for financial transactions and balances.
• Partner with business, product, and engineering teams to clarify requirements and expected data behavior.
• Investigate data issues with a business-first mindset.
• Provide clear explanations of data breaks and mismatches.
• Document defects with business context, data evidence, and root-cause insights.

Required Skills:

• More than 10 years of experience in the BFSI domain with a focus on testing wealth management products.
• Strong understanding of wealth management or financial services domains.
• Proficiency in Advanced SQL for data validation and reconciliation.
• Experience in Test Plan, Test Case Development, Review, and Execution.
• Expertise in various testing types including End-to-end system testing, Regression, Mobile Testing, Functional, Sanity, APIs, and integration testing.
• Experience with Defect reporting and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodology.
• Ability to understand complex business rules, calculations, and financial logic.
