Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join our remote team handling workers compensation claims across jurisdictions. You will apply your claims experience to analyze exposure, determine the best course of action, and resolve files with accuracy and empathy.

In this role you’ll collaborate with clients, claimants, and internal teams to ensure timely communication, adherence to policies, and high-quality service across a national footprint.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum of 5 years related claims experience.
• Licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled.
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claims exposure to determine proper action and resolve files.
• Interact with clients, claimants, and other parties to ensure clear communication.
• Provide exceptional customer service to claimants while upholding client policies.
• Handle claims in accordance with policies, procedures, and ethics.
• Document claim activity timely to support file outcomes.
• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex workers' compensation claims.
• Work with clients to deliver innovative solutions and improve processes.
• Think critically and prioritize tasks to serve clients effectively.
