Job summary

AvonRisk seeks a Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster III to lead complex, high-exposure claims, providing technical guidance and supervisory backup to the unit. You will direct medical management, RTW strategies, and high-stakes settlements for catastrophic injuries and multi-party litigation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years WC claims experience with independent indemnity management.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years indemnity experience at independent level.
• Knowledge of public entity liability claims, JPAs, and pooled programs.
• Active adjuster license in applicable states; multi-state preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and manage complex, high-exposure claims through litigation.
• Direct medical management, RTW, and life care planning for catastrophic cases.
• Reserving, PD rating, and high-value settlements with documented justification.
• Mentor junior adjusters and provide senior technical guidance to clients.
