Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Water Resources professional focused on stormwater planning, asset management, water quality and integrated planning in Northern California. You will lead the pursuit and execution of water resources projects, mentor staff, and build client relationships to grow our water resources practice across the region and the United States.

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after 90 days.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of water resources planning, stormwater permitting, and design experience.
• Experience developing and executing water resource planning and design projects.
• Experience and knowledge of regulatory requirements and NPDES Permitting for Municipal, Construction, and Industrial sectors.
• Experience driving client-facing/business development efforts including tracking and responding to RFP/Qs.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pursuit and execution of water resources projects.
• Plan, model and/or design stormwater improvements and green infrastructure.
• Provide regulatory compliance and permitting support for USACE, FEMA, and other environmental permits.
• Mentor professionals and supervise earlier-career staff.
• Develop and grow client relationships to expand the practice.
