Job summary

Black & Veatch has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Planning Leader focused on watersheds, stormwater, and water resources in the upper Midwest, with primary responsibility in Minnesota (Bloomington) and opportunities nationwide.

The role requires a PE license, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and 11+ years of related experience. You will lead planning and design, mentor staff, and grow client relationships while delivering world‑class infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum 11 years related work experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead water resources projects including stormwater planning, design and asset management.
• Develop and pursue opportunities to grow the water resources practice across the Midwest and beyond.
• Provide technical mentorship and supervise early-career professionals.
• Interface with clients and partners to expand markets and deliver projects.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and effective project management.
