Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead stormwater planning and design initiatives across multiple Texas offices and other U.S. locations.

The role emphasizes growth, client engagement, and integrated planning with cross-functional teams. The candidate will bring 11+ years of water resources experience, proficiency with major modeling tools, and a track record in delivering complex planning and design projects for municipal and civil infrastructure

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program and professional registration where required.
• Minimum of 11 years related work experience in water resources planning and design.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR) as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development efforts for stormwater planning and design services.
• Build and maintain client relationships across target geographies to drive growth.
• Lead the execution of services as Project Manager and coordinate with partners.
• Interface with stormwater, water quality and planning partners to leverage new technologies.
