Job summary

Fulton County Department of Public Works is seeking a Crew Supervisor to oversee street, water, and sewer maintenance projects. The role requires managing a crew, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities include directing staff, coordinating daily activities, and maintaining records. A valid Georgia Class B CDL (Class A possibly) and flagging certification are required, with preference for a high school diploma or GED and five years in related field.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in construction, repair, and/or maintenance of public infrastructure or related field.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia Class B Commercial Driver's License; some assignments may require Class A CDL and/or endorsements; must obtain and maintain Flagging Certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff and handles performance appraisals.
• Coordinates daily work activities, prioritizes tasks, and ensures safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Inspects work in progress and ensures compliance with codes, laws, rules, and standards.
• Prepares reports and maintains related records; communicates with residents and stakeholders.
