Job summary

Collins Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Waterfront) to lead complex waterfront/structural projects with a strong emphasis on client relationships, budgeting, and schedule adherence.

This hybrid role located in Portsmouth, NH requires a PE license and a track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure in marine settings. The ideal candidate will manage teams, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and drive project pursuits while maintaining financial performance and

Qualifications

Bachelor's (or master's) in civil engineering from an accredited four-year university.
10+ years with progressive project management experience.
Experience with waterfront structures, ports, and/or marinas.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification required.

Responsibilities

Provides expertise in complex engineering computations.
Oversee the use of computer‑assisted engineering and design software.
Provides leadership on multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
Prepares agreements, sets project goals, fees, schedule, budget and staffing needs.
Serves as project manager on complex projects and client contact.
Regularly reviews schedules, deadlines and budgets to ensure profitability.
Assists in business development and pursuit activities.
Is available to attend meetings outside of normal working hours.
