Job summary

The Foth Companies is seeking a Lead Waterfront/Marine Structural Engineer to serve as the technical lead on waterfront and coastal projects. This role involves coastal calculations, structural analysis, and development of construction documents, with remote options for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include leading multidisciplinary teams, mentoring engineers, and supporting business development while maintaining regulatory knowledge and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (required).
• At least 10 years of structural engineering experience in feasibility, design, or construction management.
• Experience developing construction documents including plans and specifications.
• Professional Engineer License or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead and designer on coastal, waterfront, and marine projects.
• Perform coastal condition calculations and structural analyses for shoreline protections.
• Lead the development of construction documents with plans and specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers to manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Identify and implement innovative design technologies and improve standard practices.
