Job summary

The Foth Companies is seeking a Lead Waterfront/Marine Structural Engineer to serve as the technical lead on waterfront and coastal projects. You will perform coastal condition calculations, structural analyses, and develop construction documents while identifying up-to-date design technologies.

Located options include Green Bay, Milwaukee, Madison, and remote for the right candidate. Applicants should have a PE license and 10+ years in structural engineering, with a Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience (feasibility, design, construction management).
• Experience developing construction documents including plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead and designer on coastal, waterfront, and marine projects.
• Perform coastal condition calculations and structural analyses for shoreline protection and marine structures.
• Lead development of construction documents (plans and specs) meeting regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Identify and implement innovative design technologies and improve standard practices.
• Maintain regulatory knowledge and support the firm's technical library in coastal engineering.
• Support business development via technical approaches and client relationships.
• Communicate complex concepts effectively to clients and team members.
• Mentor and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
