Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Sr. Civil Engineering Project Manager, PE, to lead planning, design, and execution of complex water and wastewater infrastructure in the Central Region (KC, OKC, or Tulsa). You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, develop client relationships, and help grow a strong regional portfolio.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, mentorship of staff, and collaboration with internal teams to meet schedule, budget, and quality goals across municipal and utility projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in KS, MO, or OK or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive project management experience in water/wastewater engineering.
• Proven ability to build client relationships and deliver projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for water and wastewater clients.
• Lead business development, including strategy development, pursuit planning, and proposal support.
• Manage large, multi-disciplinary projects including water and wastewater facilities, pump stations, rehab, and transmission/distribution systems.
• Provide technical leadership to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Mentor and support junior engineering staff, scientists, and consultants.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support operational and strategic goals.
• Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, and risk while ensuring client satisfaction.
