Job summary

Tetra Tech's Atlanta, Georgia team is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure programs. You will guide planning, design, and construction phases, ensuring technical excellence, financial performance, and client satisfaction.

You will mentor junior engineers, manage scopes and budgets, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions for public and private sector clients in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• PE license in Georgia or ability to obtain within reciprocity within six months.
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Experience in technical project execution and developing, writing, and pricing scopes of work for proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure projects from conceptual planning through final design, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Provide technical oversight for pipelines, pump stations, and storage facilities design.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently: scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Maintain and expand client relationships and support business development.
• Ensure technical accuracy, adherence to standards, and proper documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and evaluate design alternatives.
• Provide construction support and interpretation of plans and specifications.
• Make independent assessments of engineering problems and recommend solutions.
• Achieve project profitability and utilization targets.
• Mentor and provide leadership to junior engineers and staff.
