Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects within the Industrial Business unit. You will be the primary contact for planning and design of water, reuse, and wastewater initiatives across the U.S., with offices nationwide.

The role requires strong leadership, client relationship building, and the ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget while mentoring junior engineers and supporting business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; PMP/CCM/DBIA certification within 12 months of hire or promotion.
• 10 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required depending on duties.

Responsibilities

• Managing and serving as the lead Project Manager on water/wastewater projects.
• Providing technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring engineering staff.
• Scope, schedule, and budget development, monitoring and adherence for projects.
• Quality Assurance/Quality Control of key deliverables and assisting others on projects.
• Supporting client service leaders with technical marketing for clients across the U.S.
• Engaging in professional societies and building relationships with client decision makers.
