Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects within the Industrial Business unit. You will be the main contact for planning and design of water, water reuse, and wastewater projects and help with business development across the U.S.

This hybrid role requires two in-office days and can be based at any Industrial office in the United States. Travel may be involved, with 10% or less expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months.
• Travel may be required; frequency contingent on duties.
• Equivalent additional related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Manager on water and wastewater projects.
• Provide senior guidance and mentor engineering staff to enhance water/wastewater design capabilities.
• Responsible for scope, schedule, and budget development, monitoring and adherence for projects.
• Perform QA/QC of key deliverables and assist on projects managed by others.
• Assist Client Service Leaders with technical marketing for clients across the U.S.
• Participate in professional societies relevant to the industry.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers in clients’ organizations.
