Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water/wastewater projects within our Industrial Business unit. The role covers planning and design of water, water reuse, and wastewater projects and includes supporting business development across the U.S.

The position is hybrid with at least two days in the office and can be based at our Industrial offices in the United States, including Fairfax VA and others. Travel 10% or less may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 10 years of related experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months of hire.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead PM on water/wastewater projects.
• Provide technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring engineering staff.
• Responsible for scope, schedule, and budget development and adherence.
• QA/QC of key deliverables and assisting on projects managed by others.
• Assist Client Service Leaders with technical marketing for clients across the U.S.
• Participate in professional societies relevant to the industry.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers in clients' organizations.
