Job summary

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Water/Wastewater projects from planning through construction at our Wall Township, NJ headquarters. You will mentor staff, manage budgets, and liaise with clients and regulators to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.

The role emphasizes client relationship growth, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and development of capital improvement programs in a fast-growing firm.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
• New Jersey PE license required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience with regulatory permitting and funding programs.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit BIM, ArcGIS, and hydraulic software.
• BCEE certification in Water Supply & Wastewater.
• Active involvement in professional societies (AWWA, WEF/NJWEA, AEANJ).

Responsibilities

• Lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction.
• Mentor junior and mid-level staff and perform performance reviews.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and funding sources.
• Develop technical studies, designs, reports, and bid documents.
• Manage budgets, schedules, risks, and quality across projects.
• Identify client needs and opportunities to cross-sell services.
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver practical, high-quality solutions.
