The ideal candidate has a civil engineering background, a P.E. license, and 8+ years in water/wastewater design, with strong client management and business development skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• P.E. license required.
• 8+ years of civil/environmental engineering experience focused on water/wastewater design.
• Ability to manage clients and develop new business.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to achieve financial and growth goals for the discipline.
• Responsible for productivity, profitability, client satisfaction, and quality of work.
• Develop and lead marketing and business development strategies with marketing/business development teams.
• Build a production team with leadership.
• Monitor budgets, billing, and collections.
• Maximize staff utilization and monitor backlog.
• Foster staff development and manage staffing/recruiting activity.
• Collaborate with other firms and manage subconsultant contracts.
