Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP in Tampa, Florida is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to lead projects from inception through completion. You will manage design teams, oversee budgets, and ensure quality deliverables while expanding the firm's presence in Florida.

Ideal candidates bring a PE in Florida, 16+ years in water/wastewater, strong communication and mentoring skills, and a proven record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering.
• PE registration in the state of Florida.
• 16+ years of relevant experience in water/wastewater engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Florida water/wastewater specifications, policies, and procedures.
• Proven track record in managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication skills with clients, stakeholders, and teams.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and mentoring experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead marketing efforts to cultivate new client relationships and expand the firm's presence in Florida.
• Manage, plan, and provide design oversight for water/wastewater projects with quality and budget control.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, WIP, and client billings.
• Deliver projects on time, on budget, and to high-quality standards.
• Participate in all phases of project construction, including pre-bid and contract oversight.
• Engage in client meetings and interviews to secure new opportunities.
• Lead project planning from procurement through closeout for efficient execution.
