Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP is seeking a Water/wastewater engineer with 11-15 years of progressive experience in system planning, pumping station design, and treatment facility upgrades. The role requires the ability to lead technical tasks, mentor younger staff, and develop technical proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited).
• 11-15 years progressive experience in water/wastewater planning, design, construction.
• PE license in Virginia or ability to obtain via comity within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage, plan, and provide design oversight of water/wastewater projects.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets; deliver on time and on budget; manage WIP and client billings.
• Participate in construction phase activities, pre-bid and post-bid evaluations; contract prep.
• Assist in pre-project presentations and interviews.
• Lead project planning from procurement through closeout; monitor status and execution.
