Job summary

Stantec's Water practice in the Southwest seeks a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to lead client engagements, manage projects, and provide technical leadership across treatment and conveyance systems in the Phoenix area.

Candidate will oversee multidisciplinary teams, drive business development, and ensure design excellence while mentoring junior staff and upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering (MS preferred).
• 15+ years of water/wastewater treatment or conveyance experience.
• Professional Engineering license.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and client relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing initiatives and project delivery in municipal/industrial water markets.
• Manage project staff, financials, contracts, and performance goals.
• Provide technical leadership for water/wastewater treatment and conveyance designs.
