CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead planning, design, and execution of water, water reuse, and wastewater projects across the U.S. This role emphasizes client liaison, technical guidance, and cross-disciplinary collaboration within our Industrial Business unit.

The position is hybrid, requiring two days in the office with potential offices across the country, including Fairfax VA. Travel up to 10% may be expected to support projects and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10 years of related experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead as the primary Project Manager on water/wastewater projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineering staff.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget development and monitoring.
• Ensure QA/QC of key deliverables.
• Support business development with technical marketing for clients.
• Build relationships with key client decision makers.
• Represent CDM Smith in professional societies.
