Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects within its Industrial Business unit. You will serve as the main contact for planning and design of water, water reuse, and wastewater initiatives across the U.S., with travel as required.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, guidance to engineering staff, project scope/schedule/budget control, and collaboration with clients and business development activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• PMP/ CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to travel 10% or less may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead and serve as the main Project Manager on water/wastewater projects.
• Provide technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring to engineering staff.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget development and adherence for projects.
• Perform QA/QC of key deliverables and assist on other projects.
• Assist Client Service Leaders with technical marketing to clients across the U.S.
• Participate in professional societies and build client relationships.
