Job summary

BGE, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager (PM or Sr PM) to lead water/wastewater projects in Austin or San Antonio, TX. The role requires civil engineering leadership, regulatory insight, and hands-on design oversight across drainage, water and wastewater systems.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budget while mentoring teams and nurturing client relationships to identify new opportunities. This is a full-time office-based position in Texas with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Water Resources/Public Works.
• PE license in Texas or eligible to license within 6 months.
• Experience with AutoCAD; CAD knowledge a plus; Civil 3D preferred.
• Experience with Water Modeling Software (WaterGEMS, InfoWater, or comparable).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to be in the Austin or San Antonio office regularly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare feasibility studies and design drainage, water, wastewater, sanitary, storm sewer, paving, and detention facilities.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for water and wastewater systems.
• Lead PS&E through full life cycle of public works projects.
• Plan and design water and wastewater systems including modeling, pipelines, lift stations and treatment facilities.
• Lead project teams and manage quality, schedule, and budgets.
• Grow client relationships and identify new opportunities.
