BGE, Inc is seeking a Project Manager (PM or Senior PM) to lead water and wastewater projects from Austin or San Antonio offices. You will guide engineers and designers, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure successful project delivery for public infrastructure projects across the region.

The role requires a civil engineering degree, 10+ years in water resources, and a Texas PE license (or eligibility to obtain in 6 months). AutoCAD/Civil 3D and water modeling experience are highly valued.

• 10+ years in water resources/public works preferred.
• Licensed PE in Texas or able to become licensed within 6 months.
• Proficient with AutoCAD; Civil 3D preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Water/GEMS or InfoWater a plus.
• Willing to be in Austin or San Antonio regularly.

Job Description

• Responsible for preparation of feasibility studies, design of drainage, water, wastewater, sanitary, storm sewer, paving, and detention facilities.
• Experience in hydrologic and hydraulic model analyses, water and wastewater pipeline planning and modeling.
• Plans, Specifications & Estimates (PSE) ---Knowledge and experience with the full life cycle of public works/water resources projects from studies to environmental to PS&E or final design packages.
• Plan and design water and wastewater systems including modeling, pipeline, lift stations and treatment facilities.
• Lead project managers, engineers, and designers in execution of projects.
• Manage the quality, timeliness and financial aspects of projects.
• Grow relationships with existing clients and seek and recognize new opportunities when presented.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 10+ yrs work experience ideally in Water Resources/Public Works.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in state of Texas (or able to meet requirements from other states to be licensed in Texas within 6 months).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant CAD software; Civil 3D preferred.
• Experience with Water Modeling Software (WaterGEMS, InfoWater, or comparable) preferred.
• Willingness and ability to be in the office in Austin or San Antonio on a regular basis.
