Job summary

BGE, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager (PM or Sr PM) to lead water and wastewater projects from Austin or San Antonio offices. You will guide teams, manage budgets, and ensure quality and schedule across the full lifecycle of public works/infrastructure projects.

The role requires a PE in Texas or eligibility within 6 months, a strong background in hydrology and hydraulics, and solid client-relations capabilities to grow opportunities in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Water Resources/Public Works.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas or eligible within 6 months.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Water Modeling Software (WaterGEMS, InfoWater, or comparable).
• Willingness to be in the Austin or San Antonio office regularly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare feasibility studies and design drainage, water, wastewater, sanitary, storm sewer, paving, and detention facilities.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic model analyses and pipeline planning.
• Oversee full life cycle of public works/water resources projects from feasibility to PS&E or final design.
• Plan and design water and wastewater systems including modeling and lift stations.
• Lead project managers, engineers, and designers in project execution.
• Manage quality, schedule, and budget of projects.
• Grow client relationships and pursue new opportunities.
