Job summary

STV’s Austin, TX location is seeking a Water/Wastewater Senior Project Manager to contribute immediately to W/WW project development and execution. You’ll lead design staff, oversee project delivery, and manage client relationships for treatment and conveyance facilities in Texas.

You’ll require a PE in Texas with 15+ years’ experience and strong leadership, communication, and planning skills. Competitive compensation and a full benefits package are offered in a total package above $164k.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Texas PE registration and a minimum 15 years of experience.
• Experience in design and construction of water/wastewater facilities and infrastructure.
• Experience working with local municipalities and utility companies.
• Ability to utilize computer systems to manage projects; leadership and communication skills; lead project meetings.
• Proficiency with scheduling, spreadsheets, documents, and database software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver large and/or multiple projects on time, within budget and contract terms.
• Provide effective project management to reduce costs and add value to the business.
• Assist in backlog execution and new work pursuits; act as team lead for projects.
• Execute project designs and oversee construction; interface with clients to meet expectations.
• Ensure project safety and contribute to corporate goals.
• Develop sound approaches to meet project and client needs; establish metrics and conduct reviews.
