Job summary

Black Water Consulting Engineers, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager for a full-time, on-site role in Fresno, CA. You will lead water, wastewater, and storm drainage projects from inception through completion, managing scope, schedules, budgets, and resources.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, review designs, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as the primary contact for clients and agencies to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; PE license in California preferred.
• Experience managing municipal or utility infrastructure projects.
• Strong project management and leadership in engineering or construction environments.
• Experience as an Expeditor to ensure timely materials and approvals.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, permitting, and reporting with state/local agencies.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills; ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex water, wastewater, and storm drainage projects from start to finish.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Review technical documents and plans for quality and compliance.
• Prepare status reports and documentation for regulatory submissions.
