Job summary

Consor is seeking a Senior Professional Engineer to lead the design and analysis of water and wastewater infrastructure. You will own design tasks, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and client expectations while developing leadership and professional judgment.

Responsibilities include leading design efforts, mentoring teams, and pursuing opportunities up to $1M+.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
• 12+ years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD & Civil 3D is a plus but not required.
• Office environment and typical physical demands described.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review design plans, calculations, and technical documentation for pipelines, pump stations, and treatment systems.
• Apply engineering standards and design codes to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate design efforts across internal teams, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies; lead tasks or assist project management for larger teams.
• Support project teams with technical input, cost estimating, and quality control reviews.
• Lead QA/QC processes to ensure design integrity across deliverables.
• Pursue new project opportunities; target contract opportunities in the range of $750k–$1.25M+ annually.
